***Remeber that there are wonderful meals all day at normal times and breakfast for those staying over night.
And between each class there is tea, coffee and cake. And the Bylaugh staff make sure we have iced water during the classes and as many niceties as they can think of throughout the day.

Ricardo Vidort

''Tango es una terapia que hace liberar el alma.'
'Tango is a therapy which frees one's soul.'

Jill Barrett of London brought Ricardo Vidort to England for which all of us who met him, watched him dance and were shown something of what to do by him are eternally grateful and feel really quite privileged. Jill also brought him to englandtango at Bylaugh where Tony Ramsay and Kate Isotta also became entranced by his magic. Today their teaching in East Anglian is inspired by what they learned from him.

Someones fascination only from his videos, see this click here.

Then see one of these fantastic videos taken by James Freed on the Tango Video Project

A tribute to Ricardo Vidort here. and another from California made into a beautiful film here.

And some words by Tony Ramsay here

Looking at these pictures of Ricardo at Bylaugh simply enjoying the food, the wine and the sunshine reminds me that somewhere I have (I hope) some more with him dancing. Fingers very crossed. If anyone reading this has any archive they would like to publish on this website, please feel free to email me, Stephen on englandtango@googlemail.com  We shall be delighted to hear from you and share what you have treasured with the tango world.
