Workshop Descriptions in 2007 I have kept these workshop titles because they will give newcomers an idea of what to expect and what to discover. Each participant will bring specific concerns to be dealt with and then receive input. 3. IMPROVING your APPRECIATION of the MUSIC by FOCUSING ON the ORCHESTRA - (intermediate-advanced) We study and dance to a few popular tango orchestras to understand how they can affect both the tempo and interpretation of your dancing. 4. MILONGA ESSENTIALS & MUSICALITY -(all levels) The difference between a tango and a milonga. How to walk it. 5. ASI SE BAILA EL TANGO - The WAY to DANCE TANGO (all levels) Learn to walk with elegance and improve your connection in the embrace. - 6. CLOSE EMBRACE, MAKING IT SIMPLE and CONNECTED (intermediate & advanced) A few secret rhythm steps from the masters with change of direction. 7. COMBINATION MOVEMENTS for SACADAS and BARRIDAS (sweeps) in TURNS -(intermediate-advanced) 8. IMPROVE YOUR TANGO AESTHETIC -(all levels) Fundamental walks, embrace, connection and basic steps. 9. CLOSE EMBRACE ARGENTINE WALTZ -(all levels) Play with waltz musicality and syncopated walks. - 10. LISTENING to the MUSIC during the DANCE- (intermediate-advance) How to understand rhythm, melody, cadence, pauses, and phrases. Listen, practice and dance. -

Similar Workshops were held in Rome after Bylaugh. We went to Rome to find a fantastic group of people and the opportunity to go over the Rivarola technique even more thoroughly.
